Doritos Super Bowl Commercial Finalists Arrive in Phoenix
BackDoritos introduces the three finalists as voted by fans nationwide to select a winner for the "Crash the Super Bowl 2" challenge. The "Crash The Super Bowl 2" challenge is a nationwide competition wherein unsigned / unknown musical artists post their original compositions and videos on the Doritos website for fans to vote for the best song. The winner's song and video will be featured in a Super Bowl commercial and the winning artist will receive a recording contract from Interscope Geffen A & M Records (IGA). The artists/bands are: • Nivla, from New York City, performing "Be Easy (Koi Nass)" • Singer/songwriter Kina Grannis performing "Message from Your Heart." Grannis honed her craft at the University of Southern California and now lives in the "Live Music Capital of the World" -- Austin, Texas. • Landon Austin performing 'Waitin.' Austin, originally from Dallas, Texas, is a student at the University of Belmont in Nashville. The three finalists were flown to various locations in Los Angeles to film their respective Super Bowl videos. Among the preliminary round of celebrity judges was noted musician/producer will i. am of the Black Eyed Peas. Arlene Santana is in Phoenix and introduces us to the finalists...
